    On MF's post #358

Might be worth considering EU petitions too. It seems an increasing number of No10 petition responses are citing EU law and resulting in no action.

Waiting lists in many areas, eg. Waltham Forest & West Kent = 6-9 months. If you are off sick for months waiting for NHS CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) treatment, you're costing the Government & employers alot more in sick pay/benefits than it would cost to fund more immediate counselling.

Should abide by the law. Only accept entries where proof has been provided & not 'they assure us the entries are correct'. Act on information supplied by people regarding their information. Should be heavily penalised for breaches of the law.

Continue with the introduction of ID cards but scrap the biometric part which has been shown to be worthless and costly. Use a similar system to the Photocard Driving Licence. Only contain information that is relevant for identity and do not allow widespread access to or sale of people's information.

In the credit industry If a credit/loan agreement is proven to be unfair, by the Financial Ombudsman, under the new CCA, or lent irresponsibly then the funds should be clawed back from the bonus's of the fat cats!

Should be limited in wordcount to no more than 1000 words and it should be quality marked for 'plain english' and be understood by the academic level of the majority of the population, not just those with a pHD in Consumer Law!

Unsecured lenders should only be allowed to apply for a charging order in the county courts on a defaulted debt if they have included the 'your home is at risk if you do not keep up repayments on this loan' warning on the agreement form.

They should have to include social tariffs in their comparisons, so everyone gets a fair quote.

Everyone to have a right to one! Banks should have % targets to meet on them and should be banned from hiding them under the counter, or in a back store cupboard, or saying they have no application forms left (oh dear!) and will have to order some - but in the meantime how about this super whizzy current account that costs £12 pm and we will wallop you with £35 quid a time when you go into unauthorised overdraft - that's much more suited to your needs?

Hi all, There is a website that is just like this called Dear Downing Street. You can post your thoughts to the government and vote on other notes people have written.

deardowningstreet.com - copy and paste it (I'm a new user so couldn't do it as a link).

All of this is such a great idea. Increase the accountability!
