Sliding Scale of Prescriptions for low income - free or reduced prescriptions where people are in work but not earning a "living wage".

Doesn't this already happen? I know somebody on tax credits who gets free prescriptions.

When I was at uni students couldn't get them free though, despite being much worse off than they'd be on the dole.

Tax executive income at 95% for earnings/rewards/benefits totalling over 50x (or other arbitrary multiple) the lowest annual salary the company pays to any other full-time worker. This ensures that executive pay can only go up significantly if the lowest paid workers' wages also increase.

In addition to the suggestion 'Right to know the rate you'll get before applications go on credit files', I also think that:

Lenders should assess your application (based on their criteria from the information you have given) and only if you meet that criteria, should they then proceed to a credit check.

There is no point in carrying out a credit check if they know they will not accept you anyway.

Young people who have a good savings history, should not be penalised because they have no credit history.

Credit cards should show the interest rate you are paying, whether this rate is considered competitive (traffic light type system) and show how long it will take you to repay at your current repayment level (along with the overall cost).

I think if people saw that the balance was going to take 3 years or more to repay, they might think twice.

I know this might be unpopular with some but

Balance transfers prohibited on credit cards

Credit cards should be for purchases and not shifting money around. If companies want to take on your debt, they should offer you a loan which at least has a repayment date. Credit cards can take a lifetime to repay. In the current economic climate, many people are finding themselves stuck with high interest rates and no new accounts to transfer balances to.
