Financial institutions should not be allowed to charge for investment products that lose money, especially when they are marketed as low risk, e.g. if a 10 year monthly savings plan is worth less than the money invested (£3000 turns out to be worth £2500) then ALL charges should be refunded.0

When someone applies for a loan, require the lender to do due diligence to demonstrate that the borrower has the ability to pay the loan and interest in a variety of normal circumstances (eg changes in interest rates, loss of overtime, other existing payments).0

Freedom from 0870/0845 only numbers
Increasingly organisations now only have chargeable 08 contact numbers. Most mobile (and many landline) customers have inclusive calling plans which exclude 08 numbers.
Organisations should offer an alternative 01, 02 or 03 number so that customers can choose which number is best suited to them. (see No10 petition: freedomfrom0870)0 -
If you agree (as I do) please go to the No 10 petitions website and search for my petition: Freedomfrom0870. Would love to get into "the hundreds" of people signing up.

Supermarkets show the price per unit on shelf tickets. However the units used for similar products may be different. eg pence per 100ml and pence per 100mg. I've seen fruit juice given as £ per 100litres, pence per litre, and pence per 100millilitres for various brands.Eco Miser

My thoughts are to offer more help to the UNDER 25's as I fall into this group.
My personal situation is that I am now just 23 years young, with a mortgage, council tax, bills etc and can receive absolutely no other financial help what-so-ever. I can not apply for Working Tax Credits due to my age or anything else at all - yes I had researched thinking I must be due something to help out financially. The fact I don't, is distgusting in these days if you ask me.I'm not a complete idiot!........... Pieces of me are missing :rotfl:0 -
Make no win no fee accident claims schemes/ & lawyers illegal.
Everybody pays a fee to make a claim, although may be refunded if won.
Lets take action against the "Where there's a blame there's a claim" culture and get lower insurance prices for us all.Nothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -
If I am held in a queue waiting to be connected to a call centre, please tell me how many are waiting before me. Dutch phone inquiries did this over 20 years ago, so the technology does exist, why not now?0

Agree in that prisoners should work, doing jobs which somehow contribute to society, whilst they are in prison. They should "earn" at least the basic cost of keeping them so that prisons are cost neutral.Nothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -

Sorry, without meaning to sound rude I genuinely don't understand why you think you should receive help?
I am 25, was on a decent salary for my age, was made redundant now working part time on less than half that and re-training, ok I'm not a home owner because I have never been able to afford to buy, but I rent and pay CT, student loan, income tax, bills etc, but don't and wouldn't expect any tax credits because I am able to afford to live as I do.Nothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0
