anyone know what sort of limits studio give on there cats.
got account through today apr's were supprising 44.9apr but29.5 if you do direct debit.
are they anygood??????

i've been with the cooperative bank for almost 4 years, i have a cashminder account. I have recently paid off all my debts, and now all 6 of my defaults say satisfied on my credit report.

i then requested an upgrade to a standard account, without an overdraft, just a cheque book, and I got declined.

What chance do you think I have of getting the upgrade if I appeal against this decision?

Also, can you point me in the direction of a template letter I can send them.

Lastly what will go for/against me in the letter?

you may be better trying another bank.
the template letter is on page two.im sure someone will put a link up for you.i cant im affraid.
did your co op letter say you can appeal.i had a decline recently from them and it did say i could,based on 3 months statements i send in???????

How long ago did you apply for it? I applied about a week ago and have heard nothing yet?

I have been with them for about the same amount of time,
when i rang them recently to change address they told me i was eligable to upgrade to a full account,
appled while i was on the phone to them and got declined grr

applied on 23rd at11pm.dint even get confirmation,i guessed because of time.got account through today with invoice

jacomo declined me originaly.got ambrose now.everone else approved.the jacamo was weird.

They are good to build ur credit up but be careful how you use them!!!
And with Capital One, they like to pull a rotten dirty trick of sending you a PIN and then declining you. I rang them last time and told them they had messed with the wrong person as I used to work for them and would be having a quiet word with my journalist brother-in-law about some of their 'practices'
The woman on the phone went quiet for a long time and then defensively said 'Well we wont be sending you a card.' Fine, I said but like I said Im ex-staff and Im going to the media (I know for a fact that if anyone says that you are supposed to escalate the call immediately) She just repeated herself so I laughed and put the phone down.
Be very wary when applying for one of their cards!!!!!!!!!!
