I went for their standard account which is free, comes with a Visa debit card and a cheque book, also an overdraft if I wanted one - i said no, but am allowed to arrange one in the future if i come into some sort of difficulty.
Now, am I being paranoid, or is there a reason why I was so easily accepted by Lloyds. Are they not a very good bank?
Its unlikely a bank will offer you any account you like.... maybe you just passed their credit score thus they offered you a bank account - choose which! Their gold account isn't exactly worth the amount you pay, its no HSBC Premier that's a certainty!
It doesn't mean anything, credit is individual and you must have a half decent score - Lloyds are not the easiest to get a full account with.... not if you have adverse credit anyway!

I was just going to hit the Apply button on Littlewoods, but stopped myself. Thinking of actually having a Lloyds TSB Airmiles CC next year kept me away from that apply button. 12 months and I should be set to go for a mainstream card.
Normally I'd just hit apply and worry about the extra search, but I've just managed to get 5 searches removed from Equifax, and 3 from Experian. Going to keep at it and no more searches for 6 months at least.
Aqua, Vanquis, CapitalOne, o2 and HSBC all going to be reporting green 0's.0 -
