    Got my Capital One pin number today, no word about the credit limit or APR yet. Still waiting on Tescos card and pin.

    Why not give them a call? The told me my limt & APR before I got the card.

    Mornin' all! Wee bit woozy from last night so excuse me.

    Called Barclaycard just now to say "Yup close the account I can't be trusted with it behind the bar" and nice retentions lady reduced my APR by 3% to leave the a/c open.

    Retentions deals FTW!!!

    Why would you close your account when you had just paid 3% to transfer a balance to it?

    Furthermore have you not just recently opened the account??

    It's because of my inadvertent (yeah inadvertent my a**) spending behind the bar last night. Didn't want the temptation.

    Although now that I've checked everything it turns out I didn't use my credit card atall... it was all out of my bank account... so I'm not as reckless as I thought :D

    ... I have a wallet full of change to pay back in now :p
