I would ask them to send a letter to confirm that you paid a fee to disconnect the contact early.
I think it a little strange that if you paid the contact off that they could not confirm that no more payments would be taken.0 -

I sent them an email asking them to confirm the contracts ended, no payments will be received, to cancel the direct debit and send me a letter confirming all of this.0 -

My HSBC account has been made a Bank Account today for some reason. It was downgraded from Plus to Advance, now it's just Bank A/C. lol0

Do you pay in 500 pounds or more into your account each month which is what you need to do for the Current Advance.
I think that they may have changed the account to just a Bank Account because you said that you were switching to Natwest.0 -

Last month I paid in over £1900... there's always over 1k going into the account. I'm sure they would make it an advance if I ring them, but I can't be bothered.0 -
