Well I have no idea what I am doing other than making payments usualy in fuill each month..but occasionaly leaving £10 balance or so outstanding but in the last 4 months my MBNA (paid £100) has risen from £500 (starting balance) to £1000. Capital One had risen from £250 to £500 now £1000 and Vanquis has gone from £500- £1,000 - to a £1,500 Gold card (info arrived this morning not the card)

So my credit worthiness must be improving npot missed a single payment in over 2 years now...and next April the remaining default comes off...(paid in full alread) so I should be mainstream....big time.

I know this is off topic but an elderly friend has just asked for some advice concerning her payg phone. She's recievd a text from 80876 which has taken 1.50 off her credit.

I asked her if she had requested this by texting a number and she denied it i know this is right because she doesn't use her mobile phone only to recieve phone calls i doubt she would even know how to send a text. Is there anyway to get this 150 back for her ? would she phone her payg supplier to make a complaint about this company?

Maybe Halifax bank has run out of money.

just wondering - have a Flybe/Sygma/Myworld card and just applied for a 'Silver card' from sygma and got a instant yes - anyone got this card and what sort of limit comes with this card?

I have the Silver card and they gave me £400 limit. Not very high.

I was surprises they give a instant yes - I have £4k with Flybe - £1k on Myworld , and they just upped my limit on JJB to £700.

Probably a small limit - just want the 0% offer!

I'm tempted to apply for my 3rd Sygma card but I have way too many searches on my file at the moment.

They are a good company in my opinion (apart from going powermad on CIFAS).

touch wood I have never had any problems - few times I have had to call up they have been spot on.
