Cheers for that mate - god knows what is happening with mine then? I'll ask - hang on i'm on hold!

Right just had an interesting chat with Sky.... apparently my card is only used for adult channels (ooer I must be buying too much !!!!!! lol) on a pay per view matter. Unless I subscribe to a year contract then each time I want to order an adult related item, they deduct my card at source,

If however I order a movie from the box office, this is charged to the bill.

Nice to know how it actually works and maybe time for me to consider a subscription to the adult channel instead of a fiver a night :rotfl::rotfl:

Actually, I'm not sure if they would increase the limit. I've had Virgin Media for about 3 years and it has always been at £100. I've never tried asking tbh. I believe you pay 1 month behind on Virgin Media.. its odd how they work.

When I receive my bill, say.. £60 for example. It says it'll be taken by direct debit on xx day. Any calls I make AFTER the bill has been issued will still continue to accumulate on the "credit account".

So, perhaps I make £45 worth of calls 5/6/7 days after my bill was issued, that'll take me over my credit limit and they'll cut me off. I'd then receive a phone call asking me to pay the specific amount to bring it back under the limit.

It works exactly like a credit card. They don't report to CRA however.

    Virgin does report to Equifax

What was odd is that it took them 8 months to start reporting and then only from that month - not the beginning. Maybe it was a recent thing.

Hi guys, hope you are all good?

Just a question about Next again, do you only get an account number when you are granted a credit account with them?
