Have got an HSBC plus account with Small overdraft (In the process of appealing a Credit Card Decline) O2 Contract etc everything has been fine for the last few years.

Think i have 3 searches.

HSBC are deffo more strict than abbey.

I now have 2.5k O/D with Abbey where HSBC only gave me £200.

Barclays also offered me £1000

may be worth a shot, I have like 25 searches however got another 5 coming off within the next few weeks.

I also have an account with A&L which has been run fine, but dont have anything going in or out of it really. Do they use that as reference?

What else do you have on your file then?

Their systems are not yet linked however they will be within the next 4 weeks.

File appears to be clean apart from loads of searches and lack of history

I did however have identity theft what caused me many issues.

yeah not bad.
ive decided my amount of credit accounts and c/card balances need attention.got declined flybe with minimal searches,now,on eq.
that said although i have a shed load about to,and dropped of experian i figured one more app,as searches are not my only prob,for halifax premier, wouldnt hurt.
took them two days to do search,and no reply yet.
interestingly as my used credit went up there offers to me declined,including account.
decline on the way i suspect.
just got to clear some accounts and should be fine.
