Opened an Egg savings accout today and got an email this evening to say that it's all up and running, but the problem is I couldn't help but apply for the Egg Credit Card too which I think was a mistake as they will decline me and have another wasted search!
I got the "we'll email you with a decision" which always means no!
    Oh well!

Still nothing yet from Egg - Good sign or Bad sign?

Not sure yet. I'll see if CapitalOne raise my limit on the 19th, as it's my fourth statement.

LOL, too much available credit on catalogues> Thats funny mate. Interestingly, the lenders must be aware that although they may show a limit of say £10k, the catalogues don't always honour it, i.e. you could order a TV for £500 on a £10k limit and they could refuse to send it - they are a weird bunch tbh.

I only have JD & laredoute for the green [0]'s but may dump them soon, got enough credit going lol.
