i did it with all my cards last month cause i got rid of them all and none of the other did it just vanquis.

Also i have 35 searches on my file but alot of them by credit expert themself. are they noticed by companies? Cause it not it means by xmas i will have no searches on my file which is good isnt it? cause they get removed after a year correct?
No, searches from Experian are private and are not visible to a lender and yes after about 1 year searches will drop off - should be 3 month IMHO.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

How much of a affect will changing addresses be on our credit files before applying for a mortgage next year. Been at current address 8 years
  • good evening guys

    Got a question.

Am trying to work out stuff for obtaining a mortgage next year but trying to tidy up my experian credit file a wee bit.

    1) There is known addresses on my file well over 6 years ago, can i get these removed?.

Linked addresses are now removed after 8 years.;)
