    well done mate:beer::beer:

    Thanks :D The 0% balance transfer will come in very handy since I just put a £1000 motorcycle on my Vanquis card, was desperate to get it paid off before the statement arrives but I can relax now.

  • I fell off the "SOS" bandwagon and applied for a River Island card (Issued by Santander) and was accepted.

    Now if they have offered a store card I wonder if they would accept me for an Zero card so I can get rid of Vanquis.

    Exactly what Seeya said, their loss. I had a feeling they would decline you.

    It was the credit score that hit me. They shouldn't really say you have been provisionally approved if that's nothing of the sort. Lying scum :mad::D

    Hi all, hope you are all well. I wonder if you can give me some advice - again! OH applied for an account with Very - think this is part of Littlewoods, or a re branding or something. Anyway, it was referred, and then he got a letter declining but saying there was nothing bad on his credit files, so if he wanted to appeal, feel free. What should he send them to appeal, and does it seem likely that would change things?

    Many thanks

    Hello, tried Flybe at the start of the year. They said No! Have lots of nice Greeno's on the credit report, might hold back, use the River Island card for a few purchases over 6 months to establish a rapport with Santander, then apply for a Zero card.

    Looks like having the Vanquis its doing its job if Santander are accepting me.

    What would they need? The letter goes on about sending original documents, but they don't make it clear what is needed.
