LONG TIME LURKER - great thread, very adictive, have enjoyed reading all exchanges over the years and have found all the information both helpful and useful!
N-I-D I have to say give UNDERGROUND abreak he has aways come across as a helpful nice guy and I know you work very hard on this forum helping people etc, but you do come across as a bit of a bully sometimes, which is a great shame as you excel on here in other ways!:T0 -
I'm fine! I had a manic spell last week and ordered £500 of clothes  But I am having so much fun tying them all on. Ans what's better is they all fit! And for a fat bloke like me that means something
500 quid!!! Wow! I haven't spent that much on clothes in years! I used to buy everything designer but now just can't bear to part with the cash!
I've hopefully got a Tesco loan (agreed in principle) on the way, sent off the paperwork yesterday. Fed up with passing debt from card to card. I'm going to shut down all but one of my credit cards now and live on cash  well that's the idea anyway!

So I am opening a 2nd account for bills and keep my main one for spending and when its gone its gone0 -
Good luck with that! Whenever I pay my debts down I just run the bloody stuff up again. When I am manic (thankfully less often due to the medication) I can go mad with the old credit card/catalogue accounts. I will just have to teach myself to calm down and keep saying to myself - "this has to be paid back!"

Cif, that's just what I do, it really helps to keep bills and spends separate.
Because I share a flat I have 3 accounts, 1 for household bills, 1 for personal bills and 1 for my spends! It's all working well so far, everything is on SO and DD so I don't have to think about paying bills. Plus the household bill account is Halifax Reward so I get the fiver a month!
I really want rid of all my debt now, just want to live on what I earn and save for what I want.
I requested voluntary termination on my car HP recently and awaiting a response. Has anyone got experience of this? Does it impact your credit file? It's only reported to Equifax so not too concerned.

It has been 2 weeks since I applied for the Sygma Silver card and still haven't heard anything. I think I'm going to give them a call right now.
EDIT: My application was accepted. No word of the limit or rates as of yet. They said they have just sent the card out and should receive it within a few days. We’ve had to remove your signature.
