Another day, another question!
Guys, is there an additional charge when paying by credit card for goods bought online overseas?
I have paid for things in the US, Thailand and Australia using my Flybe & Vanquis card and I have noticed that what I pay on my statement is always £6-7 more than what the exchange rate should be. If it was a couple of pounds I would understand but the disparity between what I expect to pay and what I actually pay is noticeable.DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0 -
I think there is a fee of around 2.5% of the purchase value.Woodyrocks wrote: »Another day, another question!

Within Flybe's Summary Box:
Foreign currency conversion fee: - 2.75%
And from Vanquiis:
2.99% of the amount of any non-sterling transaction made abroad0 -

Wow
That's pretty good to know if you plan to use your card abroad. I guess you wouldn;t want to buy anything big, like a house or a beach lol
