All my windows and blinds are firmly shut today. The blinds so the house stays cool and the windows to try and keep the pollen out. Last night my hayfever went ballistic,

    Congrats!

I'll be subprime for another 12 months as I have had a '1' added to my credit file today as I was overdrawn on my current account for 2 days

And that will affect my credit increases too, arrggghhhh

  • Hi all,

So I recently fired off 5 appeal letters for a spate of declined applications for credit cards. Today, I got a letter from Tesco credit card enclosing an "Agreement in Principle" and it says to return by 6th July "and we'll make sure your new card is sent to you straight away". Do you reckon this is a definite accept? Doesn't say so anywhere, but doesn't say no either, which is progress!!

I'm so chuffed to have been accepted for a main stream card and its all down to this forum. Just by gettin this information I'm well on the way to a "normal" life again!! Thanks so much to everyone on here, although I don't post much i am an avid reader!!

And just to say there is light at the end of the tunnel.

    Thanks Again

    Hi Jackie
That's a good record after your bankruptcy in 2004:T Can I ask you have you moved since going bankrupt? I was looking at the A&L currents accounts but it said not to have a record of court orders/bankruptcy.
Also 5 years of history, so I didn't bother. Did you apply online or branch?

    Bo x
