Nice one matey
What's your Flybe limit?
Maxed out my cards because i hadn't worked for a while so was using them plus spending my meagre savings.
Anyhoo, i'm working again, so it'll be ok :T.
Where would you like to holiday?
I dont know what my Flybe limit is as I dont want to phone up and make them change their mind so I am waiting for the card to arrive (if it does ;p). Said I got accepted online though.
Hope you enjoy your new job. I want a new job too!
I would settle for anywhere warm. I would like to have nice ladies there to perve on also but at this stage a bit of sun will do! You going away?0 -

I'm not sure to be honest. That's a good question.
Although having said that, when i applied for all 3 sub-prime cards my B/card was maxed out.

Oh, they won't change their mind if you ask, surely! If they've definitely said 'yes', you're entitled to call and ask i reckon.
Yeah, the new job is ok, it's office work. I am enjoying it though. You're doing security work, right? Apologies if i've got it wrong
As for perving on women, i shall say nothing! *disapproving look at Parki* I only pray you and Big Bri never holiday together!!!
Between the pair of you, you'll be worse than Mick Jagger and Keith Richards! Durrrty beggars!0 -

Well I could do but I dont want to phone up and them say let me just check your file, this seems to be some kind of error and then they put the phone down ;p
Nah I dont do security work, if I did there would be que of burgulars lining the streets ;p I think its NID that looks after rich peoples houses.
Well I would only be looking and not touching. How do you know Bri is big? That sounds very naughty to me! But I have much to learn. Well me and Bri should go on holiday, you coming? All of us should go, we can just stick it on our cards, then get NID to get it wiped off for us so it would be like a freebie.0 -

The reason you get crappy limits is because of a lack of history. Lenders usually double your highest card, so in my case I had Vanquis with £250 and for some reason got Citi with £2k limit, then got BOI with £3800 limit (later reduced to £1k though) and then just got HSBC with £3k limit. See the pattern, they are all linked around the same amounts (excluding Vanquis of course).
So i'd guess my next mainstream card will offer a limit of around £5-£6k at a guess. It does affect the amount if you have loads of cards all with high balances - naturally, as all lenders take into account total lending.
That should answer you coco my sweet :rotfl:2010 - year of the troll

So for example Mr Nid.
When my credit history is clean. Does it go off closed accounts aswell? I have £1k limit with cap1, £250 vanquis. But MBNA have just closed my account as I have paid them off. But this account never defaulted or had late payments. The limit was
5k.
So does this doubling go off active accounts or do recently closed ones come into play aswell?0
