Posted my HSBC appeal letter yesterday. Started working as a teaching assistant today. Very hard work putting up with kids who have problems and just want to annoy, be verbally abusive and try and take the p%*& out of you. Not sure how long I can stick this for. Thankfully I'm only going to be doing it for 3 days a week, and working at a cinema another 2/3 days.

    Hi everyone,

I've sent off 5 letters appealing credit card declines today, all of them 30-odd pages long. Think I'm trying to bore them into submission....

Also recently applied to Next but was declined & they have agreed to have the search removed from my Experian file! Not heard of that before but 1 less search is good I guess - takes me back down to a nice healthy 29 :D:D:D

    Hiya Luce!

Yea, some lenders do remove searches. HSBC have just removed 3 of mine - not that it matters cos I need the others to remove the other 300 or so that are there :rotfl:

Good luck with the appeals, just remember that you're not begging you're simply asking someone to give you a chance..... is that so much to ask?

29 searches is bad - soon you'll be in competition with me! :T:eek::T

That's pretty much what I've said. Don't quite know how I managed to stretch it to 30 pages though!!

Nah, I reckon your position is unassailable!!

I can't believe you mention brian right in the middle of my flirtin' - that's just bad!

(although the thought of brian in a gimp mask slashing your ars to shreds with his JD Williams catalogues does make me chuckle....)
