Does anyone know if I can take the printed application form, 3 month bank statements (I'm applying for £100 overdraft, which requires 3 month statements) and a cheque to my local Barclays bank, rather then posting them?

It didn't say I could take them to a branch, it said either print and post or they'll post the forms to me to sign and return (I chose the former).

I thought you weren't applying for anything else?

I'm thinking about applying for one, but I'm a little unsure. I may wait to see if you get one, if you don't I'm not going to was my time.

Tomorrow morning I will. Not quite sure what to ask, but 'Hi, can you tell me what is happening with my application'. Not sure if I can take the application, bank statements and cheque into a branch, rather then posting it.

Yes take it in to the branch, they maybe able to tell you straight away.

I know they used Equifax as ID but I think they check both for current account applications. They searched my Experian file last year when I applied, but asked me questions from my Equifax file.

Did they decline you after sending the application back to them?

I never sent an application in, I never had too. They sent me a decline later about 5 days later.

Ah, I see. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with 3 current accounts if I get accepted for Barclays. I will most likely close HSBC and keep Lloyds TSB.
