    Hi All,

    My OH has now had a Vanquis card for 3 months and had his first credit increase to £500 on his statement that arrived today.

    He wanted a new laptop so tried opening a Littlewoods account to get it on buy it now pay april 2010 but he got declined.

    Whats the next best thing to apply for i.e catalogue wise and should we wait another few months before doing so seeing he got declined today?
    Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month

    Good catalogues to apply for are Next, Studio, Freemans or any of the JD Williams brand. All start off with low limits around the £100 - £150 range but increase quite quickly.

    get him to phone them.it may have just been the initial limit.also buy now has to be approved even if you have an account.
    basicly if you would have applied just for an account you may have go it.
