On phone to First Direct now. They have gone to get a supervisor. I'm not letting it go without a fight.0

They have gone to get someone higher then the supervisor as he told me a pack of lies.
Edit - Got the manager ringing me back in 10 minutes. She's in a meeting at the moment. Going to give her an ear full. :rotfl:0 -
If you can get them to open an account for me too would be much appreciated.
I am credit worthy now and have the card to prove it that is nowhere near maxed out!0 -

On phone now. She still saying no. Apparently I entered my account number wrong for HSBC which is why they are sending out the forms. I'm getting her to find out the account number I entered.
Im going to ask for the search on my credit file to be removed.0 -
Ok. I did enter my account number wrong. Used one of my old account numbers by accident. She was very polite though. She said we're not going to remove the search as we use it for identity checks to make sure the person is who they say they are. She also said dispite being told I can reapply 6 months from my first application in March, I must now wait 6 months from my application I made on Saturday, and that she'll be having words with the lady that told me wrong.
She also said she went through my application with the errors aside and it would still be declined. She explained that even if we cannot verify something small like your middle name, we will send out the application. It doesn't mean you're accepted, it may mean you're declined, just that they need to confirm details before they give you that decision.
Oh well, it was worth a try. I'll be sticking with my Lloyds TSB Silver Account.0 -

I got turned down by Aqua. I am not sure if this is due to my defaults or the DMP note that still has not been removed
. Anyone else been accepted by Aqua with 2 defaults?
