Hi Guys and girls, hoping some of you good folk might be so kind as to give me some advice.

Im trying desperately to get myself back on the credit ladder, have a few defalts from 2003 so hopefuly they drop off later this year. Iv been applying for credit cards and cannot get accepted by anyone managed to get homeessentials,jd willimas and iv got a contract with 02. Tried to get a new bank account but cant get 1 that isn't a basic. so what i want to know is how long do you all reccomend i wiat till i try again for a credit card with aqua or vanquis, oh also iv read that all your shop direct accounts keep geting raised iv had my homeessentials for 6 months and no raise is this the norm with them?

Oh sorry 1 last thing i filled in the form to be put on the electorol roll in feb but its not showing up on my file yet should i phone the council or does it take awhile?
