OH just got back from Tesco with a Flake easter egg, it scanned at 15p  the receipt said Flake Praline so I think the same thing happened like the Wispa egg, it read the barcode of the individual bar and not the box barcode. The egg was 304g and the barcode 5034660517672. The box has a big egg and 3 flakes, 1 praline, 1 dipped and 1 original.

    Bargain!
    May Overtime - £76.23
    June - £176.05 :D (so far)

    Long way to go!!

    Loving Tesco today :D

    Managed to achieve:

    Heat Magazine: £1.65
    Grazia Magazine: £1.95
    Seriously Farmy Cheese x 6 @ £3.99: £23.94
    Lillets Mixed 24pk (RRP £3.25): £0.74
    Lillets Super 12pk (RRP £1.89) x6 @ £0.44: £2.64
    Lillets Super Plus 12pk (RRP £1.89) x3 @ £0.49: £1.47
    Palmolive Handwash (RRP £1.69) x 4 @ £1: £4.00
    H&S Conditioner 250ml (RRP £2.00 for new SMALLER 200ml bottle): £0.29
    H&S Shampoo 500ml(RRP £3.80 for new SMALLER 400ml bottle) x2 @ £0.56: £1.12

    RRP Subtotal: £64.16
    Tesco Subtotal £37.80
    Multibuy savings (Palmolive 4 for £3) -£1.00
    Total before vouchers: £36.80

Free Heat magazine from Diet Coke: -£1.65
Free Grazia Magazine from Diet Coke: -£1.95
    MOCS for items I hadn't bought(!): -£3.25

    Total to pay: £29.95

However, the Seriously Farmy Cheese was on an end of aisle shelf label as BOGOF :D
So DTD on the cheese: -£23.94

    GRAND TOTAL PAID: £6.01

I actually should have got more back on the cheese as the promo label that said Seriously Strong white, coloured and farmy varieties were BOGOF also said they were £3.68 each... (I paid £3.99 each) that should have entitled me to another £1.86 off, but I didn't want to push my luck in case they tried to tell me it was a different product or something, lol!

NOTE: The Lillets that I got cheap were the compact applicator ones... having looked at Tesco.com when I got home it seems they have stopped selling them so the reduction should be standard across all stores on any compact applicator Lillets :D

In theory they should be the same price because when you order online you pay the price instore on the day your order is picked.
However, there is no chance of DTD or anything because in that sense online and instore are completely different... for a start they don't offer DTD online :(
If you were to buy them online and took a screenshot of the special offer price (including the dates it is running) then although you would probably be charged the higher instore price when you get your order, a phone call to CS *should* get you a refund on the difference as you have proof that you bought them because of the special offer, but it can be a long battle and they might just come back to take them from you and refund you :(

  • Great find Kaos bought two @ £3.99 each and got back my money and kept the cheese :T

I also picked yet another bargain and brought a 5 pack of size 5 royal mail bubbled envelopes were £6.00 reduced on SEL £3 and scanned through on the till @ £1.35.
I took the last pack in my store as I would of got more :(
  • Don't know if this is just my local stores but recently i noticed TESCO have reshuffled their biscuit/cereal bar aisles.as a result there's been reductions on the biscuits they're discontinuing which has been different in each of my local stores.

yesterday i picked up some Jammie dodgers (custard ones) SEL 40p but they went through at 20p.quickly went back and checked the little bit where the other reduced biscuits were and they all scanned at 50% less then the already reduced price :)

    so:
    cadburys double choc fingers- 25p
jammie dodgers jam n custard- 20p
    berry snack a jacks- 11p
go ahead caramel biscuit bars 10pack- 50p

tragically this little haul totally made my day!just a heads up in case you find similar in your TESCO (this was the Cheetham Hill, Manchester store)

Well done LoveMyBargains :D I have to admit though, it wasn't originally my find, I had definitely read something on here that popped into my head when I saw it instore today.
I had to pass a different store tonight and couldn't resist popping in... me and DH managed to find another 4x 500ml bottles of Head & Shoulders @ 56p each (instead of a whopping £3.80 for 400ml). DH likes H&S for some reason so it'll stop him from nicking my Brilliant Brunette from last week's Tesco mishap :p They didn't have any applicator Lillets though so still not sure whether that was a nationwide reduction.
