The egg was 304g and the barcode 5034660517672. The box has a big egg and 3 flakes, 1 praline, 1 dipped and 1 original.
This happened to me today not once but twice!!!!!!!!!
Got a wispa egg and a twirl one for 50p each in same transaction!!!!!!!!!
Thanx tesco!!!!:beer:0 -

3 for £3 - Hair Gallery Black scrunchies
Went to my local Tesco this morning and bought 3 Hair Gallery Black scrunchies. The plastic tag attached is marked at 3 for £3 but all went through at the £1.60 individual price with no discount. Went to the customer service desk and got my DTD at £3.60. So 3 Hair Scrunches for £1.20.
There were other items in the 3 for £3 offer but do not know whether these would work too.
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO TAKE TIME TO POST COMPETITIONS

Thankyou!!! Got myself some today from Mansfield, you can never have enough scrunchies when you have long hair like me
Also it was very refreshing to be told by the CS lady that I would get DTD, rather than me having to tell her :rotfl:Much more friendly than my local
Was an opportunity to grab some more bargain H&S too, and another free mag from Coke!
:beer:If a post is helpful to you, please take a second to click "thanks", it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside!0 -
hi just looking for some advice really went to my local tescos today and my son was looking at little plush peppa pigs they were in a box and they were priced on the sel as being £2 each i bought one of each so thought it would be £6 but when i looked at my receipt on the way out i had been charged £3.97 each i went to cs to query it and she went to check the sel when she came back she said it was a different product as the barcodes didnt match the sel even though it came up on my receipt as being peppa pig plush and the label said peppa pig plus.....she eventually said she would reduced them down to £2 each but i pointed out the dtd and she said this didnt apply...i asked to speak to the manager and the checkouts manager came over and said as it was not the right product even though there was a huge box of them under the sel and that as it was a human error the dtd policy doesnt apply.....at this point i was too embarassed as there was a huge queue forming so just left it but was wondering if i shud have had dtd or not if anyone cud help would be grateful lol0

You should have got DTD, no where on the sign behind customer services that describes DTD does it mention barcodes. It says words to the effect of if you are charged more than the price on the shelf or the item. Their pricing should be clear, if it had peppa pig plush on the SEL and what you bought was a peppa pig plush then you were overcharged its not up to you to checkthe barcode.
Unfortunately you have fallen foul of unscrupulous CS who will do what they can to avoid giving DTD.0 -
I think we should start naming which Tesco branch CS is behaving troutishly or really nicely. Broadstairs have always been lovely to me, offering the dtd without prompting, and Folkestone are fine too.0

weavedribbon wrote: »Don't know if this is just my local stores but recently i noticed TESCO have reshuffled their biscuit/cereal bar aisles.as a result there's been reductions on the biscuits they're discontinuing which has been different in each of my local stores.
yesterday i picked up some Jammie dodgers (custard ones) SEL 40p but they went through at 20p.quickly went back and checked the little bit where the other reduced biscuits were and they all scanned at 50% less then the already reduced price
so:
cadburys double choc fingers- 25p
jammie dodgers jam n custard- 20p
berry snack a jacks- 11p
go ahead caramel biscuit bars 10pack- 50p
tragically this little haul totally made my day!just a heads up in case you find similar in your TESCO (this was the Cheetham Hill, Manchester store)
my store pontypool did the same but the prices arent as cheapReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0 -
Rule of thumb applies here, if on the SEL it says "little plush peppa pig" and is directly underneath the "little plush peppa pig" why on earth would you check the bar code ???. This may be human error , but so what, its Tescos employees human error, and DTD should apply, ie do you check the bar code on the tin of beans you buy??? no, you rely on Tesco staff to have the right price displayed as do Tesco themselves. When i stand in line at CS i think, well how many old/vunerable people have over paid for this item, and how much have Tescos made out of them before i bought it to their attention.0

Bought the 3 for £10 meat deal the differance of £2 did not come off. Went to cs did not even mention dtd he gave me £4 back and said we give dtd back for over charges, he was brilliant ( stalybridge store) it was the chickens that was causing the problem.Plan to save all child benefit from Jan 26th - November 30th
