You buy a product advertised at £1. They charge you £2. DTD entitles you to double the overcharge (in this case £1 so your refund is £2) and you keep the item.It aint over til I've done singing....0 -

I got something few days ago on the reduced shelf at Tesco. Big sticker reduced to 50p and charged full price of £4. Overcharge was £3.50 so got £7 back.0

Tesco "Double the discount" is national policy and no manager can change it. Check the printable coupon thread for exact policy details.
Asda have a overcharge policy - if you are overcharged you get your money back and a £2 gift card. (but you usually have to ask for the gift card)

Just called in Tesco Express at Armthorpe (Doncaster) and noticed they had small tins of Carnation Milk - the label said 37p each or 2 for 80p!!!:wave::hello:0
