no dtd for me today :( was in 5 stores and one express... pink phones had correct sels, have yet to spot the best twin ones with 49.99/149.99 sels, didn't even see any with full price...?

I think I'll need to wait uuntil the 23/08 04/09 and 06/09 sels run out...

yep, they're the 2 dates etched in my memory too:D

ps i know I'm being really cheeky and I know I got them for free BUT but has anyone had the nerve to take the denby's back to swap them for a less horrible set?

I did ring Cs about the BT phones I bought my parents and said wasn't sure where I stood as they have only just tried them out and they are really slow and tacky, chap was really nice and said the overcharge didn't affect my statutory rights you should still be entitiled to exchange or refund (i wouldn't have the nerve to ask for a refund myself) but best to take back to store you got them from

Mine three! So what have we got noted then?

    23/08: Electricals
06/09: Breville & George Foreman grills

    Anything else?

Got some toys today that were priced up at approx £1 on the shelf but scanned at over £3. Barcode on the shelf didn't match and the correct SEL was there but with a OoS label partially covering it. The SEL I spotted had a similar item description so they offered to sell the items to me at the advertised price even though it was wrong. Was so tempted to go down the DTD route but was buying them anyway and figured I should keep my DTD arguements for something more expensive ....... like Breville & Foreman!
  • Ooh hope I don't seem cheeky but "Dr Who Stuff" gets me all excited we are all huge dr fans here, have I missed a bargain ;):) TIA

:rotfl:a number of months ago HMV were selling Dr Who board games reduced from £15 down to £5 - I made a mistake when ordering so you can imagine my surprise when 6 turned up. I'm doing a swap with Caz on them. :T

Just a heads up, over on HUKD someone has posted that they bought Barbie Petites Club Mini Ring for 20p today. They are selling for £2.99 plus p&p on Amazon. I'm going to look for them tomorrow because I think they'll make brilliant stocking fillers.

WBMF - will drop you a reply email over the weekend once I get some peace & quiet. As for the Lego, I left it at mums so will get it back tomorrow and figure out what I have for you. The stuff I have is the plastic bag types. Not sure what I have spares of but to give you an idea, I'm fairly sure I got this one and it was 62p:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-Atlantis-Submarine-30042-Bagged/dp/B0049PG8WG/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1313865233&sr=8-3

The others were 62p (Creator) and 47p (Star Wars Tie Fighter I think). Don't think it'll break the bank! Checked my local today and the only thing they had reduced was Rotor. It's yours for £3.50:

Don't need the Playdoh any more if you want to keep them for stocking fillers or gifts? Sorry but couldn't resist when I saw them :o

Was up early this morning so trotted with DS to my local Ts bargain hunting at 8.30am .... Found the RTC Lego though cheapest was £15.. I checked the price at self serve and scanned at that too .. (crap!) no dtd bargains all SELs were correct..no penny items and still no Denby though the SELs had been turned on their edge so sticking up, does anyone know if this is so that someone changes them? .. :o
    I LOVE MSE! :money:

So for all the people who like a bargin but are afraid to do dtd try this. Me I am waiting for them to go up to £199.99 LOL

any dtd's I've got they have always crossed through the item/price and once clearly written no refund to be given, and once clearly told you can't bring these back!

often wondered what would happen as we have purchased said item 'innocently' and if was given as gift and was unwanted/needed the recipient would want to exchange refund! what would happen as reciept has been marked as if you.ve already returned it!

I have no intention of returning a dtd item (unless the said above happened) as I look for items I need, can give as a gift, can use or give to family to help them out :)

mind you as free I'm sure it could go to some worth while cause :)

but it does beg the 'question' if you know what I mean :o lol

mind you maybe not a route to go down (unless las an example like celebrates rubbish phones) wouldn't want to give mrt a reason to pull dtd
