ok, new flat sorted, everything signed so I don't need to look and go to viewings anymore, guess what I will have time for instead? :D

    tomorrow's target is 5 stores :D

might scan some denbys if I find any but anything will do... Nikkilala did you get the pink phone from BB in the end? I know I've seen the "good" sel couple of times so not sure if you don't want it or forgot? I might go for it if you don't want it and I don't find anything else... I'm sure I can find some good homes for two sets LOL

and re the removing/bringing back sels: I'd never do it, it's so much fun the way it is I don't want to ruin it... Some of my housemates once said why don't we go and do it and you'll just be buying the items? I said no as I like my Tesco trips the way they are and don't fancy to return home in a police car... I wouldn't advise anyone to even try... It's stressful enough to go to CS with a real misprice, I would wet myself if I played with the sels beforehand... I actually look forward to my 3-5 hour round trip tomorrow and some free "gifts" that might wait there for me... :)

Go for it with the pink phone, I really don't need it having managed to get one of the cordless sets of 3 a few days ago:T:T:T:T but not in any of our locals. I have found a lovely CS lady in old Y who just gives DTD without you even having to ask for it.Am so pleased as they usually scare the living daylights out of me in there.Good luck with your trip tomorrow:)
Celebrate have you been partaking of the recent BS glitch or do I not even have to ask!
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

Well, I've been telling my mom about dtd for months now so as she came to visit this week, we went to Tesco's for a cheap lunch with the little ones. I discreetly showed her an example of what to look for and pointed her in the direction of the scanner. Off I trotted looking normal only to be confronted by mom a few mins later. Her arm loaded with some cushions and throws. I was expecting her to tell me she had found a few bargains but oh no, she just thrust them at me and said, right so I get all of this for free then, what do I do now?
I just gave her one of those looks she used to give me when I was smaller, listened intently but carried on regardless.
Don't know ifi was more amazed that a simple process went completely over an intelligent persons head, or that I am in fact turning into my mom!!
Needless to say, we left with nothing as she was more trouble than the three children!

thats so funny! :rotfl: I can just imagine the look on your face. :D

I got one of these but it was the buzz lightyear toy story single duvet set, the other toy story one was full price and ticketed as such. Were you just lucky with the staff member? These were the same in two stores I checked. Still a bargain at just under a fiver!

sorry can't really answer that as there was only the one toy story duvet set and sel out.

there was about 7 of them on the shelf behind the sel I think the sel said toy story3 duvet set,but not a 100% sure and the cs took it off.

Just back and checked the Denby, they were two sets left and now moved to the RTC section, reduced to £22 and scanning at that also. It's a strange one how they are being moved about in different stores.

Anyho have my eye on a blender and fingers crossed will be able to 'purchase' it soon ;)

Just posted some cheap food bargains on the 1p thread if anyone is interested.
tesco must know about us and are playing cat and mouse. they love this site as it brings money in. dont forget they only pay a fraction of th price they sell it for

    Hi Nikkilala,

Dumbo here only found the the misprice thread today!
I have to say I have been bit busy and just assumed the thread was quiet so somewhere down the pages of the grabbit board lol!
I prefer it here actually less newbies nicking all the DTDs!!

I got an email and an apology and £10 gift card from HO re my local store who have blacked out the wording "we will refund double the difference" on the price promise board and they are going to get the board altered back ASAP

No I didn't buy anything from body shop, have a massive box full under the bed as well as a box full of sanctuary stuff that was on clearance and in the garage still a box full of DTD shower gel and shampoos each AND a box full of superdrug shampoos and shower gels!!!!!

I only opened the body shop thread after the code had finished thankfully didn't realize from thread title it was buy one get2 free and 50% off as well. Their glitches are every other week anyway a bit like T's , ic you miss one don't worry sure enough there'll be another just around the corner!

Had a really good day yesterday, free sirloin steak for tea!! and then the most lovely store manager i have ever come across - i asked him if they had any more cuprinol as it was on buy 2 get 1 free at £10 a tub, sorry madam its the last one we have, so i said to be honest im sure if i hunt around i could find it cheaper than £10 as its the end of season, so nice manager then says well as its the last one you can have it for £5 just give me two minutes and i will get a reduced price sticker for you, when he came back he then said - i said £2.50 didn't I !!!!!! - how good was that, while he was sorting out the ticket i told him that i had just moved home and bought a shed as not enough storage in my new house to put everything. I went to the till to pay and he appeared with a set of solar lights - minus the box; he said it was damaged beyond repair and without a barcode he couldn't sell them - so would i like them for my new garden -FREE - !!!!
He was absolutely lovely and has totally restored my faith in Mr Ts......:A:A:A

I spent ages last night hunting the grabbit board for this thread.
Any particular reason why it has been moved here?

    Anyway.
Spotted a BT phone set with sel way, way out of date.
Trouble is, no scanners in this store, and also would be quite a substantial DTD if it came off, or quite a big cost if it didn't - so I just wanted to check....
Which BT phone sets have people managed to get on DTD?
I did trawl through dozens of pages last night, but the search field also brought up just loads of talk about BT phone prices, so couldn't find a lot of details - names, bar codes etc.

    Thanks for any help

Well if he did he must have needed glasses as i was wearing tatty old clothes with paint all over them, and my hair looked like a party had been held in it by the local rookery - i couldn't find my hairbrush before i left home so had just run my fingers through it and hoped for the best (since moving can't find anything), don't know if its memory loss due to age or loss of sight due to age - also can't find glassess; so haven't a hope in hell of reading the dates on the SELs, but either way he was absolutely lovely and made my day!!!
