My store has just replemised stocks of black strippy glasses complete with stickers . Did not bother with them as no where else to put them . Did notice a promo box of Seriously Good bolognese & red wine sauce by Gorden Ramsey . £1.89 crossed out on offer at £1.25 after checking on scanner got 3 . Got £4.04 back DTD did tell her 4 times it should have been £3.84 ,but she took no notice . So 3 jars for £1.63 .:j:j:j

I'm sure I've seen black stripey glasses in my local - what is the deal with these please? :)
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

yeah i no, its just i saw someone write somthing the other day about £800 worth of stuff and i cant find anything, lol

    Hi
That was me. I got £840.00 of DTD in 1 week at 3 different stores. It was the week when everyone was getting Denby and phones. In my local there is a lot if Denby but none has a price on it. However I am not sure if Tesco are actually breaking the law by not displaying prices on items.
I am sure there will be more DTD along in a minute so don't lose hope.

i wouldnt have the guts myself, but was wondering if anyone has taken an in date SEL and gone back a week later when its expired and the price has gone up, paid for the item and taken it to CS with the SEL taken earlier claiming that was the price shown when u just bought the item???

it just makes me wonder as iv scanned practically everything in 5 of my nearest tescos and all iv managed to get is some headfones that had a sel of 7.49, charged 9.99 so got em for 5

There are cameras covering every aisle in Tesco. There has to be otherwise they would lose a small fortune in shoplifted items. If any silly person even tried to do such a fraudulent thing, they would face dire consequences indeed.
A large company like Tesco would not hesitate to prosecute. Such a person would be named and shamed in local papers too. They would jolly well deserve it too. Any MSEr would condemn such an action just the same as we would readily condemn the looting activities seen recently.
As another forumite has already pointed out, Tesco are so lax in their price integrity that completely legitimate DTD opportunities are ample.

They are £1.27 each for the black ones and £1.25 each for the multi coloured both on 6 for £6 , but sometimes they have stickers on them 4 for £3 , giving you a nice DTD if you buy 4 .

  • Nothing in store DTD wise today :( but I did pick up a few of the reduced Play-doh sets.
  • Oh yes!!! I got another set of denby this morning, but this time in cappachino. Was so happy once again!! Maybe I should have bought 2, but I was already a nervous wreck with one in my trolley.
I hate twitches, but I LOVE glitches!!!
