2 phones missing and ood sell took away:)

well done if it was anyone from here;)

i could never have done it after trying yesterday
    :)£5 a day challenge april £338 /£150

  • i wouldnt have the guts myself, but was wondering if anyone has taken an in date SEL and gone back a week later when its expired and the price has gone up, paid for the item and taken it to CS with the SEL taken earlier claiming that was the price shown when u just bought the item???

it just makes me wonder as iv scanned practically everything in 5 of my nearest tescos and all iv managed to get is some headfones that had a sel of 7.49, charged 9.99 so got em for 5

Sorry but that's fraud.. And I wouldn't imagine anyone would do this!
People frown on us DTD'ers without any foul play!

Tesco do a good enough job at messing up without interfering like that!
    I LOVE MSE! :money:
  • yeah i no, its just i saw someone write somthing the other day about £800 worth of stuff and i cant find anything, lol

patience .. i used to be around in the days of R&R and now i find DTD is very frustrating as its very hit and miss (more miss for me lately!).. my wee stash of lemon meringue pies hardly makes up for no Denby or electrical goods but hey ho.. it is only a matter of time before you have a hit :)

  • well when i do il let u know (if it ever happens, lol
  • Lasagne for dinner tonight here now! Thank you :D

Is this the black pepper Denby we are talking about? or the James Martin stuff.. Just returned from yet another unsuccessful trip to my local T's where the Denby is £76 still! *hmmf*

Think it was actually the mushroom denby dinner sets. It was a store in Belfast.

The only DTD I have ever got was when I was overcharged for razors a while back - they paid me £2 to take them off their hands;). Haven't managed to get anything else but then I don't make a special trip for DTD items, I go when I need something and if I manage to pick up a DTD or some of the 1p or cheap finds then I'm happy.

    Good luck.

Its the same as stealing in my book. Deliberately changing tickets.... may as well stuff the item in your bag and be done with it.

DTD is a bit of fun, if you get something then its a bonus, if not, oh well there's always the next shopping trip....

That could actually be a mixture of things - not all DTD. It could include whoopies, things from the RTC section, 1p finds or low cost items like the lasagne sauce I found today which was reduced from £1.49 I think to 39p.

I believe there was some talk before about SEL and removing them, as far as I can tell - and someone can correct me if I'm wrong - people got in to trouble even just taking an SEL to customer services.

I know you are new to this so maybe have a look at this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/344305 on post 2. R&R no longer exists, it has been replaced by DTD but the advice is a good starting point. Also have a look over on the voucher thread as I get my shopping costs down and sometimes get free items when I've a money off coupon.
