  • Was looking for a new shower curtain the other day and notice that Mr T's had a few that were reduced from £7.00 to £6.50 but the sel label also had RTC on it, so I'm wondering are these likely to be reduced again and how long would it usually take for this to happen?? Don't wanna go buying it if it's likely to come down in price again. TIA :D

I'd like to say well done but really it wasn't.
You need to play a long game with this or you'll find that like my OH you will be known & looked out for.
By selecting those items in one shop your transaction will stand out and CS will probably speak to security.
Hopefully you didn't use a scanner in that store - if you did I suspect you'll find it disconnected next visit.
Don't mean to be too preachy but these boards are for sharing knowledge and some of us have learned the hard way & don't want to see others come unstuck.

I just want to say that I think your post was a little harsh. We, or at least most of us are quite aware that we may or may not draw attention to ourselves by claiming DTD, but to say that CS will probably speak to security is wrong, they might, but probably is a little strong. I personally feel that your post has come across a little as scaremongering. The start of your post that says "I'd like to say well done but really it wasn't" is really not too nice. Also telling someone because they used a scanner to scan 2 DTD's that they will probably find it unplugged next time is to be honest just paranoid. I'm not saying it can't happen as I suspect it has in the past, but it won't happen to everyone. They were pleased with what they got and were shot down by your post.Sorry I might upset people by posting this but I felt quite strongly about your post and the fact that it could make people paranoid.

Just got back from T's, loads and loads of the finest belgian choccies for £2.55, so hopefully they will be going down further! Also saw a Cuponks (from last year's glitches) but didn't scan it.

This was mentioned quite a while ago, but I got Tesco dark pink cerise colour gift wrap tissue paper for 25p! (5 sheets, 50 x 66 cm)
    Barcode: 5 00358 421002

    HTH
I scanned the cuponks it was about £12 quid  and it was on reduced section in my store

What I didn't want to do by posting is stop anyone finding glitches, bargains or freebies or stop anyone sharing info on here.
I've had a lot of fun with T's stores over the past ten years and have seen lots of people come unstuck by getting carried away with it. No need to go into more detail as I know these boards are monitored (not scaremongering ;) fact and well know by long term T's shoppers).
I have teenage kids so I know people like to make their own mistakes :D.
Sorry if you find my posting style harsh/offensive - thats not my intention at all.
Of course each store is different but I know for a fact that CS will speak to Security if they suspect customers are looking for DtD.
Just be careful moneysavers and think long term :money:

Hi Celebrate, I had this conversation wth my OH today. I do pay cash if I'm doing a DTD but only for the reason that some people have had problems with refunds being put back onto their card. I personally always use my CC as I don't feel like I'm doing anything wrong and I have a lot of points to make up for not using it during the 6/7 weeks of the old DTD:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I never quite got the hang of having more than one CC, I'd just get too confused!
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:
