If you are returning clothing without a receipt - you can swap for other items of clothing, but you are only given current value of item you are returning.
Same goes for other items, eg Homeware or Entertainment.
You cannot use the value against groceries for example.
Of course, this all depends on which CS staff you get.
Some will just refuse point blank, others will give you a refund - as per usual, Tesco CS staff are a law unto themselves;)0 -
Not sure if this has been mentioned here, but Low Fat Custard is back up to 84p in my local :mad:Elite 5:2 #54 12/13 lbs (18 Jan) 1st Target :j0

I went for a nosey this morning, but I couldn't see any opening offers, maybe you had to be there first thing, I was there after half 10. Looked like they were doing some kind of tasting as you went in the front door, but didn't really pay much attention tbh.
Wasnt overly impressed in all honesty, it's not that big, seemed to me like rather a waste. Allthough I'm sure it'll be handy for the people who live out that way but I think I'll be sticking to my regular Mr T's...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

I've just got back from Tesco as wanted some lamb anyway. No £3 SEL here - it looks like some HUKDer's haven't worked out that these are so store-specific it's almost a waste of time posting them anywhere on the web. EDIT - having read the HUKD link, it appears it was an online typo. Now I know why I prefer it here!
Nevertheless, three or four out-of-date SELs on the electrical dept in my local today, all expired yesterday. One of the items was an iPhone 4 kit, scanning at £40, SEL £20 (exp. 17/07/11). Didn't get it though, as thelurch said, it's best to save your DTD 'lives' at CS for the good stuff (plus it was the same woman on the desk who was astonished I got £60 back on two items last week!). I'm going to check out the seasonal aisle tomorrow, as there were a few 18/07/11 expiration dates, if I remember rightly.10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0 -

Okay, maybe 'lives' was going a bit too far!
I don't have an iPhone 4, I'm not likely to have one and so I left the kit behind, even though it was free after DTD. I doubt I'd get a tenner for it on eBay if I was buying to sell on, there was no weight to the kit at all either, so all-in-all was a rubbish DTD item.10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0 -

No, I know what you mean. I phoned CS today instead of emailing as I'm saving the curt email for a time when I will really need it. DTD is going to end up being taken away so part of me says to get it while you can but only on stuff you need while the other part of says who cares, Tesco make the policy and their staff are the ones who can't sort out stock rotation & pricing.
So anyone in Northern Ireland had any luck with phones? My folks checked today and they either scanned at the lower price or the expiry dates had been extended.0 -
NOTHING for me again today!
Trying hard...failing miserably

I scanned the iPhone 4 kit too Adam, it scanned at the reduce price though, if it was the same one which i presume it was as it was the only one i could see...
I didnt see any 18/08 items in seasonal either, the next expired SELs i am waiting for are phones, printers and solar lights on the 24/07 :cool:Biggest wins to date: XBox ~ iPod Touch ~ Prada Handbag worth £1000 ~
