Whenever I've been overcharged and gone to CS, they've only ever given me the difference back! I'll have a look next time I'm shopping to see if there's a notice up about DTD. Thanks 4 info! x
  • Oak Crown Smoked Back Bacon - pack flashed with £2 sticker and SEL but charged £2.38. DTD = 76p :-)

Reading this thread makes me wonder if l've ever been overcharged at Tesco, l expect so l don't check the receipt religiously  will do from now on!

    Happy moneysaving all.
  • I picked up a set of screwdrivers today to make my shopping up to £30 for my £3 off voucher. They were above a SEL that said £1.49 (did not read it thoroughly, just the screwdriver set bit!) but it turned out they were £2.73 - it was a 22 piece set as opposed to 58 piece, and there was no SEL for this one! As it happened, the CSA on the desk was in training and actually said that they were above the SEL for £1.49 so that was what they should be. DTD = srewdrivers for 25p.

I actually smile when I see somehting go through the till at a higher price now!
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

OOD SEL for Tesco medium cheddar (largish packs which cost £3.36 each).

SEL expired on Tues 1st, said '2 for £5'. Other stores may have made the same mistake as there are other cheese offers which are still current.

DTD coughed up after some prompting from me (i.e. 'oh good that means I get DTD then...').:D
I got glared at as a response - but at least they didn't even bother to try just refunding me like they usually do in that store.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Tescos appear to have changed their Becks promo. It was £5 crate of Becks per £30 spend, but it now appears that you have to claim the discount (with a voucher that is printed off with your receipt) at the customer service desk after shopping (and another queue!).

This isn't made clear at all. The only reason I checked my receipt was because they had forgot to discount it last time so I got DTD. Now they appear to have changed the promo without making it clear that you have to claim the diff in price back after shopping. Please check your receipts. I wouldn't have if I hadn't had a problem last time.

    To all fellow misprice fans:

Do the SAs in your local Tesco give you a hard time? Mine always give me the evil eye when I go to them for DTD (only a a few times a year) or return something. As id I'm doing something wrong. It kind of gets to me sometimes, makes me feel uncomfortable going to CS. :(
