I would like this one explained to me please?

If you buy 1 punnet you pay £1, if you buy two it should be £2 but they were charged £2.50

Sounds like they were £1 and tesco forgot to put them up to £1.50 before they put the offer on.
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)
  • Not sure if it has been posted but I have just come back fromTesco with 6 cans of men's vaseline deodorant 250ml dark blue tins for free. The SEL says buy 1 get 1 free at but I was charged £1.44 each

The sel was £1 for nectrines or peaches - but on the same label it said or two for £2.50p..... A bit of a mishap.

    I paid £1.50p per punnet £2.50 on the multi-save so overcharged 50p dtd = £1

  • Hi sorry if this has already been asked, if you buy something but don'r realise til you get home that you were overcharged and go back in the next day do you need to take the product back or just the receipt?

Ladies basic cotton 3/4 sleeve or long sleeved tops which have a big yellow sticker on them saying 2 for £7. They are £5 each other wise.

I picked up 3 self coloured ones and one stipey one which didn't seem to trigger the discount of 2 for £7.

DTD back so £6 to me.

The stripey tops seem to be a different offer of 2 for £7 on their own, but as the big yellow stickers were the same on all tops, the lovely lady at customer service agreed it was misleading and gave me DTD.

It's best to take the product as well as the receipt if possible. This stops any possible debate about the exact product you bought, plus they normally need to scan the barcode of the product when they sort out your refund.

    Hi all

I bought three wooden spoons the other week, they were meant to be 31p each. They were also selling sets of three for 99p each, so I picked up three single ones instead.

However, one of the spoons had a three-pack barcode on (the other two had the right barcode on). I didn't notice this at the time. The boy tapped in 3x and then scanned the one with the dodgy barcode, so we were charged £2.97 for the three spoons.

I realised when we got home so we went back to another store the next day to sort it out. I asked if they still did DTD and the girl said no, she proceeded to refund me the difference between what I paid and what I should have paid.

Should I have got DTD for this? I don't spose there's much I can do about it now...

Yeah, got my first DTD today. Got charged £12 for Becks, instead of £5 with a £30 or more spend, so asked for DTD, and got £14 back; so basically got a free crate of beer and £2!

I could hear customer service muttering about it being an operator error, but they gave it to me, although I can't see what operator error has got to to with DTD.

Thanks for pointing out this policy. I would never have known different otherwise, and would have been £7 poorer. :T
