Just like to report back on one of my recent whoopsie trips. I got:
Whole Aromatic Duck £10 down to £1
Fresh Sardines £2.29 down to 30p
and now for my best one:
3x 2pk chicken breasts £4 each down to 30p each
AND the til took off the 3 for £10 deal (so £2)
So Tesco paid me £1.80 to take them away
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
And they still had 3 days left on their BB date, ???
I noticed two people hovering around the poor reduction staff, shoving stuff under their noses one after the other, the SAs were getting visibly annoyed. I stook back smiling sweetly, and waiting, guess what, the SAs took my stuff from me and served me first.:D When I got to the till, the two rude people were actually together:mad:
No law against it but grr.
Also noticed a tactic I think I will have to adopt, that is, get to store just before they do final reductions, load up trolley with all the stuff you know is going to be reduced, then hand it to the reductions staff politely. That way you get it first. Seems a bit extreme but it's dog eat dog.:starmod: DO IT NOW :starmod:0 -

Confession time, have sussed onto that a few months ago and have done it quite a few times now;)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
That only works if the store is predictable in when they do the reductions
In my local Asda the staff usually reduce stuff between 6-7pm but it can be as late as 8-9pm
I would find difficult to loiter waiting for the man with the gun.
Unless sOmeone was there reducing stuff at the timeGRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED
Please press the thanks button when someone has helped!0 -

My tactics are slightly more underhand, but only if there are people like you describe being rude, pushing etc.
I just stand back from the scrum and watch as they go back to their trolleys to dump the stuff off and then return for more, leaving their trolley unattended  so I then just take my pick out of their trolley!
And on a couple of occasions I've nipped to the toiletries section beforehand and pick up a large pack of condoms, which then get subtely dropped in the rudest persons trolley, that makes for good entertainment if you then watch them get to the checkout!0 -

Shop two - A vs W
And then repeat :j:j:j
& now add - A vs S
What the heck A vs the world :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Sorry but thats way out of order! Theres one old bloke in my local store who goes in hours before and locates all the big cuts of meat and hides them so they cant get any reductions on them then goes and collects them at finals time and gets them for pence.
Our store have also now turned around and told people like you to sling it.....if its in your basket you pay whats on the ticket. They won't entertain knocking down stuff that people try handing them.
They even stopped it all together after a couple of ladies were almost brawling in the aisle over some 10p strawberries.
Its pathetic....times are hard but please, lets keep our self respect!
My freezers are rammed with joints of beef for less than a quid and packs of 20p sausages and every week all my bread, fruit, veg and salad comes for pence and has done for years. I for one won't be happy if the greedy selfish bunch wreck this like they wrecked tesco points collecting and MOC usage.

Not the biggest saving in the world and to be honest, I was hoping for a proper Mega Bloks glitch but I saw a couple of Thomas the Tank Engine Mega Bloks sets today. The bigger of the two was Thomas & Friends - Cranky at Brendam Docks had a £40 to £20 half price sticker on it but scanned at £15.

hi went to tesco's today to try and get some of the 1p Roses but no luck
- did some shopping of the offers instead and picked up the Robinsons Fruit Shoots (hydro ones) which were on offer 2 for £4.50. The normal fruit shoots were also on offer at 2 for £4.00 - till took off both discounts so x16 bottles of fruit shoots for £2.72! Will be going back for more later when hubby gets home! Not a huge bargain like the 1p finds but enough of a saving for me
loves a good glitch :j0
