Prices do not get updated like this, they get updated throughout the night from their central servers. The time they actually change is a complete unknown, unless you're willing to stand next to the self scanner all night, bleeping away every minute or so........"Life was easier when I didn't have a clue"0 -
i looked everywhere for the mega blocks and went to about 8 shops in the end with no luck. then, on thursday, while doing my normal shop (in a store i had checked and go into daily) i found 2 megablocks while searching for the ballerina/cars tins. SEL said £12, price sticker said £15 and till said £30. got £72 back for 2 boxes. was over the moon. then, today, was looking for the 1p thorntons chocolates, when i found 2 more megablocks (in a different store). SEL and till said £30 but sticker said £15. got £60 back
. I love Mr T sometimes

I have worked for a different company and you put out all the increase tickets before you click on the server to update the increased prices. With the decreases you click first to update/download decrease prices then you put out decrease tickets.0 -

so if i get my simple brain around that one....
it makes it much harder to catch them out with a misprice where SEl is lower than scanned price

I was in Tesco this evening and i bought the 3 for £10 meats and the discount never came off....it was def the right ones and they even have the stickers on it saying 3 for £10.
I bought Mince, pork shoulder, chicken fillets, total for the three £12.49 should have been £10.
I bought it amonst other shopping so i only noticed now and gonna return tomorrow, plan to take pics of the items on my phone so i can show the CS what ones i bought.
Hope helps someone...0 -

I think you must have picked up a wrong pack there. All of the 3 for £10 meats are £4 each. If you bought 3 that were in the offer (and it didn't come off) that would be £12. One of your packs must have cost £4.49?

The offer you are quoting is the 3 for £10 / 4 for £12 one.
The straight 3 for £10 offer is different and there are plenty of packs priced at £4.49 included:

Looking at it, I think it's the mixing of these two offers that caused the misprice. The chicken fillets don't seem to be in the straight 3 for £10 offer.

In extra stores the end of offers and increase labels are printed by the end of day run at 7pm, Price integrity then have from 7pm till midnight to process these legal labels, at around midnight all tills stop processing the old offers and lower prices and go to the new pricing.
From around 3am another end of day runs and this prints all the new price decreases and start of offers to be displayed by price integrity.
In express stores end of day prints at 10pm for end of offers and increases and then again at 3am for decreases and starts
The corporate policy is that if you make a legal price change (increase/end of offer) the tills won't use that price for 2hours to ensure the label has been changed.0 -
