after my 6th DTD on the stripy glasses they still haven't removed the stickers in my 2 local stores:j

got trouted though-young SA who'se never been grumpy before just gave me the difference back , when i said you should be giving me DTd she said "well ok if you want but we're phasing that out because it's a pain in the bum!" I said "well if you priced your stock correctly it wouldn't happen" to which she mumbled "bloody night staff"!!

Someone was asking about the black stripey glasses. I can confirm that they were stickered at 4 for £3 in my local but scanned at £1.27 (strange price) with no discount. Cue DTD at CS who gave off at how the checkout staff were meant to be manually adjusting the price as the offer isn't on the system properly.

So be warned, just because the offer doesn't work automatically, you could get trouted and pay the £3. If you don't get trouted then they should work out at 23p per glass compared to the expensive 25p for the coloured stripy ones :rotfl:

Worth going through self checkout with these then! Especially when it's busy and nobody is paying attention!

Mr Cat - do you remember the coloured stripey glasses? If so then replace the coloured stripes with black ones. The only glasses I've ever seen in Mr Ts are the coloured stripes and the apple ones. All others are plain or in packs.

Just picked up yet another set of glasses . They had put another load out with stickers . This is my 4th lot from Hastings , you would think someone would remove the stickers. Not that I'm complaining .
Never pay more than you have too

Does someone have a link to the instore double the difference policy? I can't find it on the net but i'm sure it's there. I was refused DTD instore due to buying a few of the same item. I've spoke to tesco's customer service and they spoke to the store and refused aswell saying i'm not a genuine customer!

Consumer direct have advised me to put it in writing to the store manager, i just want to add a copy of their policy to my letter though!
