Tesco misprices and discussion thread 11

I did some Glasto shopping earlier today and got some Tesco Value Wet Wipes (Baby Wipes) which I seem to remember had the SEL of 36p. I looked at my receipt after and they had gone through at 18p. Not much of a saving but it's technically a misprice :j
If someone with access to a price scanner could confirm this one, it would be great - it might just be my local screwing things up (again)
are they the 100 pack? if so showing up as 61p at my local store!bargain hunting is what i do! :money: 2 adults 3 kids - its like trying to feed a zoo!

They were the 80 pack, here: http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=260274300
18p on the receipt. Maybe I looked at the wrong SEL, so perhaps not a misprice? Still a bargain though

Hi there, not sure if you've actually tried these wipes? I know they're very cheap but as you need to use 2-3 cause they're very poor quality I'm not sure it's such a bargain!!! Just thought I'd mention it....wouldn't want you stuck while at Glasto!!!!

10 Pack Capri Sun still had 2 boxes for £4.00 SELs on all flavours in my two local stores but this offer finnished yesterday and the offer from today is 2 for £5.00. DTD back of £2 for every two purchased worked out £3 for 2 boxes almost BOGOF as they are £2.78 a box.
SELs were removed after I went to CS.0 -
We missed a good one yesterday - Sony TV's at £500 were scanning at £50.
I found this out as I had some 1p items going through the self serve and the SA came over and said can I just have that, it's ok you can have it but it's just so we can remove them from the shelf. Anyway got into a good conversation about cheap prices and she said that a few went through at that price un noticed then they spotted it and had to refuse to sell TV's.
So well done to whoever nabbed that bargain.:T:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T

In the Huntingdon Tesco, 'Cuponk' (Incredibly fun Throw The Ball In The Cup game) was up at half price but scanning at full - got DTD after a little grumbling. CS removed the SEL afterwards however.

OMG, what a bargain!0 -
For anyone who hasn't noticed, now the fuss has died down from the glitch this morning, there are some overcharge misprice opportunities around in relation to the 2 for £16 / 3 for £20 offer on packs of beer.
Basically they've been rolling this offer on for a while, but from today the following packs are no longer part of the offer:
San Miguel 15 x 275ml bottles - now £12.00 each
Stella (5%) 10 x 440 cans - now £9.00 each
Budweiser (5%) 10 x 440 cans - now £9.00 each
However, with stacks of these packs dotted around stores with the 2 for £16 / 3 for £20 signage on, some stores haven't removed the above packs. For example in my local store, they had a sign on a stack which included the packs of San Miguel. Buy 3 of these packs and get charged £36 = an overcharge of £16 = a DTD refund of £32 = 45 bottles for a net outlay of £4.00. Even cheaper than the glitch!
