You say you have 2 receipts, did they give you the money back and then you had to repay the lower price, or did they just give you back a reciept for the lower price and the difference in money, if its the latter and the dearer receipt has not been marked and they have not written on it, take it back tomorrow, give them the dearer reciept and get the £79 back, then this means you will be £39 up0

Hopefully your 2 different priced receipts will act as 'proof' of the misprice because the SEL will no doubt be long gone.

Can someone tell me have tesco stopped giving DTD on double scans .
I was in a short while ago and was charged 3 times for my 2 items .
so over to CS and they refunded me for the overcgharge only I did ask but they said that DTD on double scans stopped about 6 months ago !!!

I think it varies hugely from store to store.
I had a double scan today - I bought 2 bottles of tango, but 3 were scanned. Went to CS, and got DTD without asking for it. :beer:0 -
