comes up at 0.62 x 3 then takes off 0.86 twice comes up as spaghetti and beans duplicated
so your getting them for 0.14p for 3 bargain

I got 3 tins today and the discount came off correctly, so it looks like they've fixed this.

Thanks sinw for the Torres deal alert - hadn't known.
The annoying thing about Double Up is having to 'squander' high face value vouchers when small ones are used up, as any 'change' is not available until the next qtrly postout.
Shall try for this one with CC+.

I posted this on another site (HUKD) and was informed that here may be a better. So here goes:

Just popped into Tesco to pick up a new kettle after my old one went pop.

Saw the Breville VKJ137 jug kettle in polished stainless with a SEL of £17.59 (reduced from £19.59). Bargain, I thought.

Paid thru self service and the total came out at £29.97.

When I took a CS to the aisle, she seemed to think the SEL was for totally different kettle, but as there was no other 'Breville' SEL and the kettle was directly above this particular SEL, she took me to the CS desk for my refund.

The CS desk lady was gonna just refund the difference until I asked whether they still did the DTD. To which she politley said, oh, I forgot about that. ;)

She also let me keep the original receipt to get a full refund if needed. ;)

Anyway, £24.76 refund. So a shiny new kettle for about a fiver.

Can't find the JK137 on the Tesco website, only the 'Breville VKJ115' at £19.59. Maybe that was the one that was supposed to be that price. Anyway, their mistake, my gain!

The same kettle that I actually got is on sale atm in Debenhams for £25.00 (down from £50.00).

Bought an illuminated Breveille jug kettle from Comet last night reduced from £24.99 to £9.99. Sounds almost identical to the one you bought at Tesco.

Ok bear with me as im absolutely fuming.
Went to t's today and bought a quad phone set for 39.xx and was charged 79.xx due to an out of date sel.Went to customer service and was only given the difference, when i asked about dtd i was told it doesn't apply to out of date offers.
Now i know this is BS so i rang tesco customer service and was told i should have got dtd and to go and see the duty mgr.
Went back and asked for duty mgr and after about 30 mins waiting someone came to see me-i'm sure he wasn't the duty mgr as he had a different name to the one that was tannoyed-he then proceeded to give me this spiel regarding ood offers and trading standards.
So i got absolutely nowhere with him.Rang customer service again and was then told by this incredibly obnoxious person that the duty mgr was right and it was all in the small print on the website!!!
Getting very frustrated i asked him for the cs address and he gave me a freepost address, when i asked him if this really was free or would i be getting charged for it due to hidden subsections on the website he put the phone down.
Left the store and 1hr later rang cs again and was told that ,yes, i should have got dtd.
    Aaaaaggggggghhhhhhhhh.

Ok i know this has been mentioned before but what should my next move be.I have 2 reciepts one for 79.xx and one for 39.xx that they very generously resold it to me for.
    Cheers and thanks for reading.

Go back in and look at the checkout where you paid for the phone, somewhere there should be an A5 size blue notice with Tescos T&C. On it will be the terms for if you pay more, as this is where you bought the phones this is where the contract was made, unless they have changed it will not say anything about OOD sels. Remind them that you didnt buy it off the web, and that how would people know what their T&Cs are if they had no access to the web. Stand your ground, normally a mention of trading standards will do it as a last resort HTH

unfortunately tesco is near my work and not my home and i ppointed and read the blue board till i was the same colour as it.Do you think a letter to cs will do the trick or do these things always have to be settled in store.
I'm off tomorrow so i can go in there then and i'm in the mood for a good row.
