well cs actually gave me 1.48 back but even if she'd done dd it would have been 98p back as they went through as 1.48 but should have been 99p so diff being 49 (2x49 = 98p

you have to laugh at the little hitlers behind cs desk.....they talk as if its coming out of there wages lol..........they must think mr t is gonna invite them to his house for pimms oclock for saving his company 6 pence when the truth is mr t would sell that little hitler down the river in a heart beat......just my opinion.....take it or leave it

Thinking about it, it might come out of their wages. Either that or Tesco keep a track of the amount of refunds given by CS, and if you give out too many then your called into the office. I can just imagine that this is something Tesco would do - they must have some way of monitoring refunds in order to find out rogue CS staff who refund everything for their mates etc.

I remember in the days of R&R buying two computer games and overcharged for both. The CS assistant begged me to buy them back at the correct price. I pointed to the R&R sign and my choice was having them free or paying £80 for them, tough choice!

I was going buy some wine today but forgot, however at cs desk long q as guy was buying it 3 4 ten n 25%, the 3 4 10 never kicked in so they gave him a refund, i toddled off see if signs still up as they had 10 mins to remove them.

Still up so i bought 12 bottles on 3 4 10, still 25% only kicked in but manager was called n said i overheard the misprice n wud only give me refund. I said it should be d n d but cant u do 3 4 ten, no only a refund. I did actually read on here about the wine last night. So never took refund n phoned hq, who said cant have 2 offers at once, i advised should honour whats showing on sel, advised cant do anything about it. They going call store and see whats going on, the store argue i overheard the misprice, well i did obviously.... I phoned consumer direct who said cant do much about it some blah blah about contract at the till, although have reported the matter to trading standards.....

quick update - well i was pretty mad at missin this bargain so off i went to another t's n guess what 3 4 ten n 25% - again 3 4 ten did not kick in and double the differance back straight away 18 bottles wine paid £63 overcharged £18 and £36 back... bit of hassle but hey

cheers - i took the others back as im hard faced, instead i bought 6 x tores at £35.88p minus 25% left £26.91p redeemed £10 points at double so paid £6.91p cash n got back 926 points as this is on 150 extra points per bottle (as posted earlier on grabbit)
