Well the last guy was: terry.leahy@uk.tesco.com
I can only assume the new fella has the same format...

Just wanted to check something with the DTD experts. I bought something that was reduced yesterday (damaged box) from £6.10 to £3.05 (yellow label on box). When I checked my receipt I had been charged £6.10. I went to CS who refunded my £3.05. I did point out that it should be DTD but they said not on reduced items. I have had this problem before. Is this the case or are they lying?
Thanks
They are lying!ELITE 5:2

I wasn't overcharged on my shopping, but having seen the sign myself, I cam home and rang HO to question this. He put me on hold while he rang through to the store, then finally came back to me and explained that the shop had mixed-up the information on the Double The Difference Online price checker, and overcharging in store. He confirmed that the Watford store should refund double the difference if you are overcharged instore.
Apparently he spoke to the duty manager in the Watford store, that was about 2pm today. So it should have gone NOW!! If anyone spots it, please let us know, and more importantly, don't be fobbed off by their staff. It seems absurd to me that us customers know more about Tesco policy than the staff themselves do!
Well the sign was still there at 3.30pm this afternoon! I phoned CS around 5.30pm and she confirmed that this sign was incorrect. She was going to phone the store herself. I asked for a phone call from the duty manager confirming the sign had been removed - am still waiting.0 -
got a WKD original 700ml and WKD Purple 70mml, advertised 2 for £5 but at first glance there was no £1 refunded. got DTD but looking now I've got home I think they went on my receipt as 2 for £5.50 as "READY TO SERVE 2 FOR £5.50", so got 50p off and £2 DTD so £3.50 for 2 in end. should add the customer service guy gave me DTD without asking.
Looking online they are 2 for £5.50, were 2 for £5 up until 31/5

I noticed the striped glasses are back priced at £1.25 or 4 for £3(sticker on glasses themselves), but sell shows 6 for £6 I think it is.
Last time the 4 for £3 didn't work... so several of us got dtd.
I don't know if this is still not giving the discount on 4 glasses, I have already stocked up on these beforeso didn't bother trying today:p

Yes it is, I got another 4 of these yesterday. But of course that means my store has now removed any stickers! When the CS had finished refunding my DTD, another CS advisor came over and said, not those glasses again, this must be about 4 times now..... I smiled.... 3 of those were mine, so there must be someone else also looking out for them! The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -

I saw these in my local yesterday, was tempted to buy some but unfortunatly I dont have anywhere to keep them.0 -
Is it best to buy multiples of 12 then? Bit early for me can't figure what dtd should get??GRATITUDE WHEN GIVEN, PATIENCE WHEN DENIED
Please press the thanks button when someone has helped!0 -
It's tempting to get more for car booting. I think I got 16 last time but a few more never hurt when they're 25p each0
