Tesco misprices and discussion thread 11

For anyone who enjoys a bit of an argument at CS:

Tesco currently have a range of packs of beer in a 2 for £16 offer. Some of these are £12 each and the offer states: 'Any 2 for £16, save £8'. However, some of the packs (Stella, Fosters, Strongbow and John Smiths) are priced £10, but the SEL still states '2 for £16, save £8'. So if you buy 2 packs and you are promised a multibuy saving of £8, you should pay £12 and if they charge you £16, you've been overcharged by £4.

I am shopping very regularly at Tesco as from this week.I already have a clubcard,which threads should I be reading in order to understand about the best savings? Anything else I should do? I am keen to build up my points.

I bought 4 bags of lamb chump chops which were priced on freezer at £1.19. I was charged £2.39. DTD given so free lamb chops +2p!!
