I've converted clubcard points to "wine club double up vouchers" on two occasions in the last six weeks.
Has anyone else noticed that Tesco appear to have shortened the life of such vouchers?
The original vouchers I received had a "use by" date of almost 3 months and the "How to use" sheet included by tesco with the vouchers referred to "use within 3 months from date of issue".
The second batch I applied for on 9 June were received on 13 June and had a use by date of 27 July.
Also the "How to use" sheet included with the vouchers no longer referred to "use within 3 months from date of issue".
It almost feels as if Tesco are "trying" to make the system as difficult to use as possible, or rather that the customer is not able to receive what they are entitled to??
Have they perhaps recruited someone who formerly worked in the mobile phone "cash back" sector to manage this scheme?? LOL!Money Saving Fan.0 -
to book a holiday with your clubcard vouchers, do you need to do it through clubcard or can you call virgin/cosmo direct?
thanksIf dogs don't go to heaven, then I want to go where they go. :A0 -
you will have to change your clubcard deals into virgin tokens through either by internet on tesco.com or by sending them off to tesco asking to be coverted into either virgin or cosmos, when you have recieved your converted tokens you then either ring virgin/cosmos (whoever you decide to holiday with) and book by telephone direct to company, you will nedd your converted deals in front of you as they will ask for the code on them .... hope this helps! x0

Darn, blast and double darn
I fell for a phishing email purporting to come from Tesco Customer Services which said I had added an additional email address to my account. I stupidly followed the link and signed in using my email address and password. I got as far as entering my wife's card number before realising something was wrong. I should have spotted the URL was dodgy - it was http://edesign-comunicacion.com/~invitado/imagenes/.nsr1authDQAAAH8AAADQ1U9GEcNXCVIMzMjTNO04czfULo3xZhJ5dIFXraD0Ginei7mzH2ud8EFi9yinbTvE6DIsuXUaQ7GjZp6Gt9c5lCRcfA2w1Ouf4GIskOHetTPv2Qux4WlANUR69jUrwYHCTMhrOLqOnl9RsikcslKrpsm18gQ3TmOMmcjqgggausrm/default.aspx.php?from=https://secure.tesco.com/register/account.aspx
What are the likely consequences of having given this information away please? I immediately tried to change my Tesco password going direct to Tesco.com but it doesn't seem possible.
I hope the worst that I have done is confirmed my email address and possibly allowed the scammer to nick our measly 75 points. What else might happen - any ideas?
I have emailed Tesco coz their lines are closed - not much else I can do I guess?

Reply from Tesco Customer Service:
Thank you for your email.
We have been made aware of this email and are investigating it's source. It has not been sent by Tesco and directs you to a replica of our site - the url highlights this.
If you have provided your login details and credit card information we would advise that you change your passwords and contact your bank. Advise them that you have provided your card details to a suspect website.
Your bank should then be able to take the appropriate action to protect you.
