Large Pyrex blue ceramic "Classic" roaster, yellow SEL £5 as reduced from £10. It went through till at £10, so a free roasting dish and £5 off my shopping.

Couldn't post on here yesterday but i went into my local Tesco and they had boxes of cherries in the fruit section, no price, no SEL, asked an assistant who didn't know how much they were so told me to ask at the till - took them to the till expecting them to be £3-4 and was told they were £1 so went and got more (i picked up 4 boxes in total) as this seemed very cheap - today they were £3.99/box!!!

Good find, thanks, but I don't think you got an extra £5 off your shopping, you just got the dish for free. :)

No, because they paid £10 for the dish, then got double the difference = £10 - back.

    Yep.

    Charged £10 for the dish.

    Got the £10 back.

    Kept the dish.

No sign of an extra £5

Just been overcharged in store, telephoned when I got home, but they don't know what I am talking about when I mentioned DTD. Does DTD still apply?

Yes it still applies, i think you need to go to customer services with the items overcharged and then take them to see the shelf label with the price. If they still claim they dont know about DTD there is usally a big blue board at cs with the company promises and its all in there, hope you get it sorted :)
