The 1kg one is £8.50 on website whereas the other ones are on special at £3. I wonder if they put the £3 in the wrong place?

The Figs in the fruit section are £1.65 per punnet or '2 for £2.50' as per the red sticker on the punnet lid.

However, the deal is not kicking in at the till so this results in a 40p per punnet overcharge.

I got four punnets. Total overcharge was £1.60. My DTD refund was £3.20.

Checked this one in store today and saw the 500gm packs on Introductory Offer - £3.
Directly below are the 1k packs at £8.50
    Excuse me Mr T - but 2x500gm = £6....
and at aisle end was a mixed display showing them side by side, 'correctly' priced £8.50.

The ones i picked up were definitely marked on the SEL 1kg £3.00 the CS girl said they had changed the price at Mr T's integrity dept? but the store hadn't been informed so there is a chance that other stores don't know about the price change!!

Just realised that you can leave feedback about your shopping trip here:

    www.tescocomments.com

You don't have to leave your name or clubcard number if you don't want to.

Think I will be leaving feedback every time this happens now - whether it does any good I don't know but we can but try!

Bookworm63, I guarantee that your feedback will be read and (possibly!) acted on. I've had a couple of specific problems that I've given feedback on and YES they have been sorted out! Makes me feel that somebody, somewhere, in Tesco really does care about customer service! So well done them, whoever they are. :T

If I've bought the same one and I think I have, its got a money back offer on it, so even better!!!

Doubt it. You would have to send the receipt off which would clearly say refunded as mispriced with big lines through the product. Don't think Ariel would allow that!

I tried this yesterday - found the 1kg on a shelf with £3 on it, unfortunately no SEL. Tried to get the young girl at CS but unfortunately ended up with the more experienced one. She was willing to let me have it for £3 but I could not get DTD as no SEL (I've tried persuading this CS before!and have run into this problem before!), I just said could I have a refund on it then please cos I thought it was too much of an impulse buy and I could spend the money on other things I needed! Not buying it if they are not willing to pay me to do so!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have become quite the tightwad since I have been using this site - before I would have been delighted to get that for £3, even if I am stocked up on enough 25p colour tablets to last me a couple of years!
