Thats the trick tho.... last year when Motorpoint were in the deals, some of us saved over £8500 in deals to buy a car..........this says we should have spent £850,000....but because of all the points flying about, it was done in a matter of months (and spending very little money).........using multiple account of course............. (some got more than one car)

I so... how do I go about it?

There's an MSE article by Martin about how to boost your Clubcard points (I think this is the article, there may be more if you search the site for 'Tesco' or 'Clubcard'):

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/loyalty-scheme-tricks#tesco

and a discussion thread resulting from the article here:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1079599&highlight=boost+clubcard+points

That's the place to go first, like many good moneysaving schemes you have to put in the time reading & understanding the tips yourself though. Set aside a few days (no joke) to read the article and then read what's been said on the discussion threads. Other threads on the Discount Codes & Vouchers board are also relevant so read any links given within the 'Boost your points thread', and do a forum search for other threads on the forum which mention Tesco points (there are lots!).

Once you are up to speed, if you still have any Qs then ask them on that thread, telling them you've read the thread (of course, so they don't come down on you like a ton of bricks for asking a newbie Q without bothering to read the thread...they are friendly, honest, but may not take kindly to someone just asking for the answers on a plate... :D).

    BACK ON TOPIC!
My latest thoughts about the 'New Deal' (no, not GCSE History - but Tesco Clubcard) are that I think they might offer double your money against Tesco Direct stuff and/or petrol, for a short time. I just thought it may be something in-house to encourage us to spend our points quicker. This is only a guess, BTW, don't quote me (unless it turns out to be correct!).

I may be barking up the wrong tree but maybe they hope they can tempt people sitting on a ton of CC vouchers to use them with Tesco instead of a T Deals partner...? Some hopes!!

    I have news!!

I was in Tesco today and mentioned that I had heard there was a big announcement coming, she said that they had their briefing today.

She didn't have all the details but the deals are safe and there are a load more companies subscribing including a cinema chain (hope its cineworld or Vue). She also said there maybe some cash back type offer, didn't state exactly but it was along the lines of if you use your vouchers in store you get double the price of the voucher off your shopping.

She said it was really good and that shoppers will be really pleased with the launch.
    £2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far

+ however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.

    Terramundi weighs 8lb 5oz

It depends if they're keeping the deals at 4 x face value.

Its already under the clubcard deals section on the Tesco website about the cineworld tickets:

    Adult ticket = £3
    Child ticket = £2

Prices vary from cinema to cinema in my experience, but my local cineworld is £6 a ticket - would prefer if you got 4x the value!

Theres also a new section on book sets that are available.

    Cineworld is Buy In full.

£3 in vouchers = Adult ticket.

    Here.

Not quite 4 times its value but a welcome addition I guess.
