Still no takeaways this week - probably because I'm always working :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Looking for inspiration for tomorrow's dinner - will trawl the cupboards and fridge/freezer tomorrow and come up with a little gem I'm sure

Well done gg50, you are doing really well. I have to admit, I gave in to temptation last week. Bad for the health, bad for the bank account, but it was tasty!

Oh would love to join this me and hubby have around 2 takeaways each week!!! arrrggghhh!!!!! but we are on week 2 of the weight watchers!! though we have been having one takeway each week on our treat night we are going to aim for a full no takeway month from the 27th augs to 27th sept!!

Good luck with the challenge and with the weight watchers. I feel I should be joining you on the latter:rolleyes:

I wouldn't aim to cut them out completely for a month as thats a massive change, and if you do have one you might lose heart in both the challenge and your WW! Why don't you aim first of all to have one every 2 weeks instead of weekly, then next month go for one and then try a takeaway free month? Just a thought xx Julie

P.S. We all have wobbles and cave (regularly!)

mabey your right!!! i'm so bad at giving in! what with 2 kids and working it's just 2 easy to say pass me the phone indian it is!!:rolleyes:

but the 100 we spend on take aways will go great towards the new car!!:D

plus might be a boost to the WW 8 1/2 pounds lostin 2 weeks woo hoo!!!!:j (may find lost pounds down back of sofa along with the chocolate biscuits!!!! :rotfl:)

i guess i can only see how it goes i'm already holding my head in shame ready for my first cave in!!!:o

Hi Everyone!

Me and the OH have been "unofficially" cutting down on takeaways, so glad this thread has been revived - somewhere for a bit of moral support!

So far we've been takeaway free for about a week but if we can get to the end of August I'll go so far as to say takeaway free for the whole of Sept

ok our month starts tomorrow we have no had a takeaway for 2 weeks already:j:T
but keeping fingers crossed for this coming month as were gonna be putting the money that we save away from now on!!
