Hi everyone
We are doing well. From having some sort of takeout food every day. We/I have managed to get organised and actually shopped for loads of food to stop us ordering out.
The kids had toast, poached eggs & cereal today and said it was better than having macdonalds breakfast.
And i have half prepared a pot of soup and a beef stew for tonight (Im easily impressed lol)
No takeaways for another whole day woo hoo
That sounds great, you've made some real changes!:ALBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

The fish and chips was delicious
In fact the chips were so good I want to make them again, but I'm afraid we'll get hooked and will all end up very fat :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Haven't decided whats for tea tonight, will need to trawl through the freezer.:cool:LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Well done gg50, you are doing really well. I have to admit, I gave in to temptation last week. Bad for the health, bad for the bank account, but it was tasty!
Keep up the good work.0 -

Hi Emma,:hello:
Good luck with the challenge and with the weight watchers. I feel I should be joining you on the latter:rolleyes:
I wouldn't aim to cut them out completely for a month as thats a massive change, and if you do have one you might lose heart in both the challenge and your WW! Why don't you aim first of all to have one every 2 weeks instead of weekly, then next month go for one and then try a takeaway free month? Just a thought xx Julie

Hi Everyone!
Me and the OH have been "unofficially" cutting down on takeaways, so glad this thread has been revived - somewhere for a bit of moral support!
So far we've been takeaway free for about a week but if we can get to the end of August I'll go so far as to say takeaway free for the whole of Sept
Good luck everyone!! xxxPaddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840 -
