Can I join in too please. I will aim for 14 days take away free by the end of August. I figure this should amount at about £100 saved as I usefully have 2 or 3 take aways per week.I am aiming to be debt free by the time I am 30 (May 2010)0

Hi JagBabe,
Don't think there is anyone keeping a note of participants as we seem to have revitalised an old thread. Go for it

Well done guys, we can all try to manage on our own and motivate each other. No takeaway for me either, although to be fair, it would be the weekends I might be tempted and since I've been spending some time on these boards daily, I feel less tempted for some reason! All good though.
I've sent the OP a PM letting him know his thread has been revived in case he wants to join in again and give numbers out etc!0 -

Oh forgot to say - used my student snapfax savings for a Dominoes so a very MSE takeaway - 1 x medium pizza and one side order of chicken dippers and potato wedges. 40% off for collection Mon-Wed = total cost £7.32:DLBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free

Hi everyone
We are doing well. From having some sort of takeout food every day. We/I have managed to get organised and actually shopped for loads of food to stop us ordering out.
The kids had toast, poached eggs & cereal today and said it was better than having macdonalds breakfast.
And i have half prepared a pot of soup and a beef stew for tonight (Im easily impressed lol)
No takeaways for another whole day woo hoo0
