I got my PS3 delivered today. :-D
Thank you so much to the person who put it on HDUK.0 -
Im SO angry with them.
I ordered a PS3 online with the 30% code
all was okay until next day they rejected the order
So i called up and they said it was because of an issue with my address but all was okay so they sorted my account
They replaced my order promising to honour the code once i recieve the goods.
Called today they REFUSED to honour it as i ordered electrical goods.
I went MAD but he would not pay any attention to the fact they PROMISED the day before to honour it!!!
Is there nothing I can do? I cant afford it full price!!!:mad::mad:0 -

You can look left, look right, then shrug your shoulders - sorry mate, "promise" means nothing unless its in writing.0 -
The electricals where removed because some people felt the need to open 4 accounts and order 4 nintendo wii's etc per account, so thank the minority.....0

My laptop has just arrived!! :j
Can anyone tell me what has happened before regarding "chargeback" I am nervous that I'll allow my son to set up his laptop only to find that additions want me to pay the full price.
In the past how much time has gone by between delivery and chargeback? Surely, I have ordered the item using a code clearly displayed on their website that did not have an electrical exclusions under the T & Cs, I was charged the discounted price on my credit card. By them delivering the said item then surely that is them completing their part of the contract.
Should I keep the box unopened for 14 days, just in case?0 -

Hello Silver
I think in the past chargebacks have been made anything from a month onwards but this was individuals using a targetted code that wasn't issued to them - this code is a bit different as it wasn't targetted and was advertised on their website to new customers so should be ok.
Having said that this company appear to do what the hell they like (i.e. removing electricals from the deal and basically telling porkies and finding any excuse not to deliver electrical items ordered prior to the T&C's changing)
I'm in a similar position to you as my DSI arrived yesterday - however I don't need it until the end of May (it's a birthday pressie for OH) so I don't intend to open it until then.
If you can keep it unopened for 14 days it won't do any harm but I would think you will be ok but your guess is as good as mine.
I am hoping it will be ok0 -
P.S I didnt have to pay the normal price of the ipod so i dont have to wait for a refund, my card was charged the price minus the 30% off....if i had to wait for the discount to be applied after i would be abit wary!Married Hubby 21/03/12...First Bubba due 13/01/130

:rotfl:I think we are all a bit wary from previous experiences of others!
My card was charged the discounted price too but I still don't trust them to find a way to charge me the full amount :rolleyes:0
