Offer now extended to 30th June - but still excludes electricals0

Anyone printed a copy of the T&Cs when it didn't exclude electricals? Would be good to know it's out there if I need it.
Thanks.0 -
I have a printed copy of the T&C's if anyone needs it.
I ordered a DSI at 3pm on Tuesday, coudn't get code to work online so phoned the order. Was told the code did not apply to electricals. When I said the terms did not state that she spoke to a manager and allowed me to use the code. She said she would put a note on the account and I was to phone back when order received to make sure the refund for the discount had been applied as they could not put it on manually.
Order received yesterday was charged full price as expected. Phoned this morning and no note had been put on account:mad:.
Told her what had been said and also that I had a copy of the terms before they were changed. She said she would speak to a manager and call me back, which she did within 15 minutes. Manager agreed to apply the discount. I have checked the account online and the discount has now been applied.:T
For anyone else having problems don't give up and if you need a copy of the old terms I can email it to you.0 -
When I ordered my DSI they said they would put a note on my account that I would contact them when I received the goods and I would get the discount refunded - this was yesterday. Just got the DSI today and phoned ready to plead my case but there was no problem and the money has been credited back to my card - 4-5 working days (Will check it does actually go back on in 5 days!).
One of the lucky ones who will have a very happy birthday boy in a few weeks time. Sorry to those who missed out.... they'll always be another deal thanks to this website!
I was also told this, i rang up and someone said they will action the refund, it was only after my bank told me my card had been used fraudulantly and was blocked, i phoned additions back to givediff card details to refund to and was told no 30% was being actioned as was not on electricals, i even had a manager listen to the original call and confirm i had been promised 30% off, but their legal department are saying no, i am emailing them the terms and conditions as they were when i ordered. im sure they say something negative.
If anyone does need them i also have prior to the change0 -

Not sure if that helps at all??0 -
My order was similar in that i had to phone up as the code wouldn't work online and was told it would have to ring when it was delivered to get the discount refunded. They promised a note was made on my account aswell.
The item i ordered was due for delivery on 13th May so i thought after reading all the stories on here i'd send them an email so they could confirm in writing the 30% discount would be refunded before i actually get it and have the hastle of complaining then.
Got 2 line email back this morning saying the code was not available on electrical items and i would definately not get a discount!
I've sent a huge email back and asked for it to go to a manager, the order was placed before the change in T&C so i'm really trying to make sure they don't weasel out of it.0 -

Very strange how so many people trying to order experienced a fraudulent use of card message. I tried 2 cards and neither would work, I rang my CC company and confirmed I was trying to make a purchase & they unblocked it. I then tried to order the product again and it wouldn't let me apply the discount code.
Not to be beaten my husband set up an account and the transaction (incl. discount) finally went through.0 -
hi Silver, i dont think my card was fraudulantly used after the additions order (although i think they would be extremely helpful in applying discount if it was the case) i have know way of confirming where the card was used and then when details were taken, although i am usaully very careful, hmm, maybe, maybe it was additions - give details over the phone, person sends details off to mate in Sout Africa, and card is cloned, only thing they dont get is pin number, anyone else have this issue? as we will need to get police involved0

Bare with me, it might take a while to explain my story.
Like many others I wanted a wii and 30% seemed too good a deal to turn down. So I added it to my basket, tried the code and it didn't work.
I called up customer services and they said they'd try and 'push' the code through. That didn't work. Eventually they said it excludes electricals. I told them I had the terms and conditions in front of me and it didn't say it anywhere, therefore they should honour it.
Eventually I was transferred to a girl from the directors office of customer services or something, who said she'd look into it.
I also took a screen shot of the terms and conditions and saved it on my computer.
The next day she called me back, by which time the t & c's had changed, so preempting her, I told her I had the screen shots.
I sent them to her and she said she'd look into it for me.
Today she called and said she has processed the order, it will arrive tomorrow!
Once it arrives, I need to call up and pay. They don't have any of my payment details yet, but still say they'll send it.
I asked what the price was and she told me the wrong price, so I told her the website still says £179.
She said ok, they'll charge me £179 - 2.5% VAT saving - 30% discount, so about £125 total!
If anyone wants a copy of the screenshot feel free to contact me and i'll send it to you.
They will only help if you placed your order before 5pm on Tuesday 28/4, as I also have a screenshot of the time next to the terms and conitions.
She told me the t & c's were changed at about 7pm.
If you have major problems, I also have this girls phone number (I need to call her to pay) and email address.0
